Preventing yourself from enjoying something simply because it wont' be around for ever seems like more of a you problem than a problem with the game. Imagine if you stopped yourself from doing everything you could draw enjoyment from because one day it would end? Why enjoy a sunset when we're all going to pass away someday? Why bother asking your soulmate out on that first date if it's all going to end someday when you pass away? Being unable to play these always online games because of server maintenance, or when your internet does shut down for whatever reason (not everyone has the greatest internet connection), or what about people that want to play at other locations? There's multiple factors. But even when it does whilst the server is still available, that still has its own problems too. Your internet connection doesn't even factor into the equation then. What's wrong with having an internet connection? Are you living in a cabin in the woods or something? Are you worried about someone spying on you? I truly am clueless as to why having internet is a deal breaker. I've always been curious about this argument modernly.
